Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is an 3 years license program regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation Govt. of India.The duration of AME course is 3 years in which student have to clear 6 semesters. First 5 semesters are academic program and 6th semester is On Job Training (OJT). AME Course fee is depend on institition and govt guidelines, it is 40,000 to 70,000 per semester. In this program students are specially trained to carryout complex maintenance process including periodical maintenance programs as per the Aircraft manufactures requirements and issue Flight Release Certificate for safety before take off the flight. Student has to clear 16 modules and after that student gets Basic AME License. On the basis of this AME License student are eligible to work in Govt and Private sector worldwide.

There will be 3.3 Lacs new jobs in Indian aviation industry by 2020 as per Govt. of India estimation and planning . AME salary package is very high.
